Social media sites and mainstream media outlets saved “democracy” for us by silencing all voices that mentioned a certain laptop, formerly the alleged property of Hunter Biden. Had this story been permitted to see the light of day in those venues, most certainly it would have damaged not only Joe Biden’s bid for the Presidency, but also the 2022 midterm elections.

Boy, we really dodged a bullet with that one. Can you imagine the chaos if this “misinformation” had received widespread attention? Supposedly, the laptop in question, if it ever really existed, was dropped off for repair at a Delawarecomputer shop. You have to give the perpetrators of this elaborate hoax a lot of credit. They managed to fabricate volumes of damaging evidence against not only the “first boy” but the entire Biden family, including “The Big Guy” himself.

Now, as we all know, a multitude of “credible sources”, including a panel of 51 former intelligence officials, all certified the matter as undeniably without foundation. These wise oracles explained to us that this entire laptop scheme was nothing more than “Russian disinformation”. Yep, those pesky Russians were at it again. This was documented in a letter signed by the aforementioned Infallible 51.

To make matters worse, there were some outlets that did share the information in spite of the assurances from experts that it was entirely falsified. Still, you had to give a lot of credit to the conspirators behind this plot. The entire fabrication had to make logical sense, so of course, the laptop was “found” in a Delawarecomputer repair shop. The owner of the shop, no doubt complicit in the hoax, claimed that it had been abandoned by it’s alleged owner after 90 days.

It’s not hard to imagine that this man could conceivably have examined the contents of the hard drive, made copies, and forwarded them to the FBI. Right there the story begins to fall apart, because the FBI is above reproach, and would immediately have stormed the Biden home in the wee hours of the morning, dragging the family outside in their pajamas and robes, and hauling them away in handcuffs, as we have seen with so many people who were associated with Donald Trump.

But the co-conspirators went beyond just creating imaginary evidence against the Bidens. They cleverly created believable images of Hunter in various stages of undress, with various other individuals in a similar state, while indulging in illegal hallucinogenic substances. How they managed this remains a mystery. This could really have hurt the Bidens, as Hunter tragically had a history of unfortunate associations with drugs and female relatives.

The real coup de grace was the invention of fictitious emails, complete with headers and time stamps, that described a long series of financial transactions involving classified documents. It’s still not clear how the plotters could have foreseen that those same documents would be found in Biden’s possession. It’s amazing how thorough the Russian cabal managed to pull this one off.

Now recently, attorneys representing Hunter Biden have demanded a criminal investigation, and who could blame them? The people who stole that laptop from him, even though it wasn’t really his at all, should be made to pay for their crimes of disseminating his own private personal information and data to the public. You know, the personal information and data that aren’t his. Remember, that wasn’t his laptop at all. It was Russian disinformation.

So apparently, those dastardly Russian villains not only made up a lot of true facts about Hunter to smear him, but they made them public, and that’s not right, because they are true, and nobody else’s business. What is still under review is how those facts can simultaneously be true, and entirely fictitious. This is still clouded under a veil of secrecy that may never be lifted.

So we are left with the sad realization that evidence of criminal activity should never be made public, especially if it is true and could embarrass those who are under scrutiny. Those who dare to do so need to be held accountable in a court of law.

I must confess that I am still learning all the ins and outs of our new justice system, under which whistleblowers might need to be prosecuted if they blow the whistle on members of our ruling elite. I may not have the intellectual capacity to understand that evidence can simultaneously be fictitious and true.

If only Al Capone had realized this phenomenon, he may never have gone to jail.

Obviously, Hunter feels safe in the knowledge that as a member of the ruling elite, he can silence any voice that threatens him with prosecution. (Hey, it worked rather well in the Ukraine.) Either that, or he’s no more intelligent than his father.
